“Tricity craft holds together” – it says a lot, doesn’t it? A small group of passionate owners of local stores and wholesalers did exactly that. The proof of their cooperation is a new version of IPA. The project started in the pandemic when restaurants and shops suspended their operations, which resulted in a number of companies forced to close down. Our intention here was to design a beer project where each of the project members would contribute to the taste or the design. Producing a label that attracts attention was for us an excuse to join the action and support local entrepreneurs.
“We picked an umbrella as a symbol of safety. We protected a group of friends under it who, regardless of the tough conditions, appreciate the magic moment and know how to savour it”
White, a bit street art typography combined with intense pink colour made the label clear, despite its rather longish name. It also makes the beer stand out from other beers on shop shelves. Part of the label contains the text explaining the purpose of the action and promoting the idea of supporting Tricity’s pubs and shops.
